Dear Sorensen Institute Program Alum:Welcome to the new listserve for your Sorensen program classmates.
Our Sorensen Network of alumni now has over 2200 people and your continued association with Sorensen is a key element of our ongoing success in developing effective political leadership.
In addition to connecting with each other, we hope you will use your alumni connections to remain engaged with Sorensen and its mission.
We hope you will dedicate some portion of your time, treasure, and talents to Sorensen through:
Visiting our website often and following us on social media platforms
Helping us recruit participants for our programs
Serving on Local Leadership Committees or otherwise getting involved in our new Sorensen Network activities
Attend Sorensen events geared to alumni or participate in additional Sorensen programs
Make a donation to enable us to sustain our various programs. To make a gift, please visit the Sorensen website at https://sorensen.coopercenter.org and click on “Donate”.
We hope you will find it easy to use this improved mail server platform for our Sorensen Program Listserves and will use this new address to stay in touch with alumni from your Sorensen program/year.
A few reminders: 1) please be respectful of your classmates in how you use this listserve; 2) when you post, remember the Sorensen ethic of trust, civility, and respect; 3) while you are free to use the listserve as you see fit, Sorensen as an institution is a nonpartisan organization and we don’t endorse particular candidates or issue positions; 4) Sorensen staff are included in all listserves; and 5) Sorensen listserves may be subject to Freedom of Information Act requests.
We don’t intend these reminders to be burdensome, but as we reset to a new platform we thought it a good idea to restate them.

Please use the “Login Locally” button at the top right of the screen (unless you are a UVA employee, in which case you can log in via Net Badge).
Click “First Login?” and use personal email address email address (the one you used to subscribe to the listserve) to receive an email allowing you to set a password. Using these credentials, you may then log in and set options for your account if desired.
