Subject: African Studies Initiative

Description: If you look at all the majors offered at the University, every cultural and regional area has its own major EXCEPT Africa. Even though it is included in the African-American and African Studies Major, it remains marginalized within that program. If you want to see more courses on Africa (politics, languages, etc) on a regular basis, this is your chance! Join us in a student-faculty joint effort to increase the presence of African courses at UVA.
