Subject: Advocates for Medical Equality (AME)

Description: Our goal, through the help of our organization members and the interactions with the surrounding community, is that no nursing or medical student leaves UVA without confronting their own biases, striving to be aware of them and break them down, and being equipped with the proper resources and competencies to provide the most effective, compassionate, and equal care for all groups, regardless of sex, gender, race, cultural identity, sexual orientation, or religious/spiritual affiliation.
