Announcement List for the Virginia Atheists & Agnostics

Hello everyone!

It's that time of year again, when we have to hand off power to the bold and brave young hearts to take the wheel and lead the Virginia Atheists and Agnostics into a brighter future...

So we have to choose who will lead us! The elections will be at this meeting on Thursday, April 19, at 7pm in New Cabell 315. We will be choosing the President and the Vice President. The other positions are appointed as necessary. 

After the meeting, we will be going to to IHOP celebrate! This will only work if people bring their cars if they have them! Reminder, IHOP has a special for students on Thursdays which means everything is half-off after you purchase a drink!

Here are the descriptions of the positions:

President: Organizes the weekly meetings and is required to attend all of the meetings, usually sends emails and generally represents VAA.

Vice-President: Assists the president in any way necessary, and takes notes at officer meetings. 

Appointed positions may include (these are recommended): 

Treasurer: Handles the financial affairs of the club. Amount of work varies.

Social Chair: Plans social event outside of meetings, such as parties and movie nights. Manages VAA's online presence, such as facebook page, twitter, and website.
