Hello VAA!

Join us this Thursday in Nau 211 at 7 PM for VAA's annual TED Talks! If any of you are not familiar with the format, the idea is to give a short (~10 minutes, including questions) presentation on any interesting problem or topic, while keeping it accessible to those who do not have any background in the topic. We welcome all members to give talks, and welcome all topics! There will also be free food of some sort.

Also, VAA elections are coming up soon! We encourage all interested members in running for office, regardless of experience; this club is run through the dedication of its officers, and the will to become an engaged member is the only prerequisite you'll need. The election will be for the executive officer positions, which include President, Vice President, and Events Officer. These three officers then appoint other positions as necessary. 

Of course, we're always taking dues, and we will be hanging out after this week's meeting as usual.
