Hey VAA!

1)For the social meeting at 7pm this Thursday, we'll be watching "The Revisionaries"- a documentary which illuminates how and why topics like creationism are still passed off as science in American science classes. We'll possibly going to IHOP after if there appears to be enough interest. Room number TBA.

2)Someone PLEASE explain to me how football works this Sunday, Feb 2 at the VAA's first ever Superbowl Party! Some snacks and drinks will be provided, but if you want more sustenance feel free to bring your own food-or even a plate of something to share! Time/Location will TBA.

3)Finally, VAA elections are on the horizon! More info soon, but in essence we have 3 elected  positions: President, Vice-President and Events Chair. All other officers are appointed by these three. If you have any interest serving on next year's VAA Council, or questions about that in general feel free to direct questions to Erik/Me/Rolph or any other officers whose time you can snag. ONLY MEMBERS WHO HAVE PAID DUES WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE. $10 for the year, and if you've payed last semester you're good!
