Hello Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I am the chair of the VAA conference committee. We are working on organizing a one day mini conference event here at UVA in the spring, with the idea of bringing other secular/atheist/agnostic/freethinking/humanist/whatever students (and non-students) from around the state to UVA, and awesome speakers from around the country, for a day of secular awesomeness. But this takes planning. And those who help plan, help shape the event, get to network with secular leaders around the state and country, and gain valuable experience for leading VAA in the future. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we are having a meeting this Thursday before the general meeting. It will be in Monroe 113 (same building, different room from from the general meeting) at 6:00pm. I hope to see you there. (If you can't make it to that meeting but want to participate, email me).
