Remember to sign up for a ride if you haven't already, guys!

Since this saturday will be a gameday, we won't be able to just meet up in a parking lot near grounds to leave from there. So I ask that drivers please pick up their passengers and bring them to the parking lot by Washington park (right across from the VAA House) so we can meet up and leave from there by 10 AM. Drivers- please send me your phone number so I we can try and stay organized. You will probably also want to contact all your passengers for their numbers as well. We should get there no later than 11 and hopefully leave by 4. Plan on being back in Charlottesville by 5 PM.

Again, don't forget to bring some money for food/ gas, comfortable shoes, and some water. I'm looking forward to seeing you all this Saturday! Shoot me an email if you have any more questions about logistics.

Hello VAA!

Come celebrate Autumn with the VAA! We'll be going out to Graves Mountain Orchard in Syria, Virginia for their annual apple picking festival on Saturday, October 5th, followed by a short hike through White Oak Canyon. The festival features apple picking, hayrides, crafts, and all sorts of autumnal goodness. We'll probably get lunch at the fair either before or after the hike. If you're interested in coming, please respond to this email or join the facebook event so we can organize rides out there. The whole trip should be about 6 hours, and we'll try and fix a definite time once we get rides sorted out.

Things to bring:
A water bottle
Shoes you can walk in
5 bucks for gas/ money for lunch

This is a great time to meet VAAers old and new and should be a lot of fun. Hope to hear from you guys soon!
