Lots of drivers have responded! I just created a google doc for the trip. If you plan on driving, please sign up, bold your name and indicate how many people can ride in your car. Riders- just sign up under the driver's name. We have about 20 people who are interested in coming, so we'll need about 4 or 5 cars total. Here's the signup sheet!

Come celebrate Autumn with the VAA! We'll be going out to Graves Mountain Orchard in Syria, Virginia for their annual apple picking festival on Saturday, October 5th, followed by a short hike through White Oak Canyon. The festival features apple picking, hayrides, crafts, and all sorts of autumnal goodness. We'll probably get lunch at the fair either before or after the hike. If you're interested in coming, please respond to this email or join the facebook event so we can organize rides out there. The whole trip should be about 6 hours, and we'll try and fix a definite time once we get rides sorted out. 

Things to bring:

A water bottle

Shoes you can walk in

5 bucks for gas/ money for lunch

This is a great time to meet VAAers old and new and should be a lot of fun. Hope to hear from you guys soon!
