Ok guys, we've gotten a really great response to this event so far, but we're definitely going to need more cars and drivers. So far we only have two cars for ~20 people, so please let me know if you can drive as well! Passengers will be reimbursing their rides for gas, so don't let gas money scare you away!

Hello VAA!Come celebrate Autumn with the VAA! We'll be going out to Graves Mountain Orchard in Syria, Virginia for their annual apple picking festival on Saturday, October 5th, followed by a short hike through White Oak Canyon. The festival features apple picking, hayrides, crafts, and all sorts of autumnal goodness. We'll probably get lunch at the fair either before or after the hike. If you're interested in coming, please respond to this email or join the facebook event so we can organize rides out there. The whole trip should be about 6 hours, and we'll try and fix a definite time once we get rides sorted out.Things to bring:A water bottleShoes you can walk in5 bucks for gas/ money for lunchThis is a great time to meet VAAers old and new and should be a lot of fun. Hope to hear from you guys soon!
