Hello my fellow products of evolution,

Tuesday is Darwin's birthday, and as such, it is "Darwin Day." In addition to our own small celebration planned for the meeting Tuesday night (more details on that soon), we will be do a public chalking of a Darwin Birthday Card/Evolution Mural. (The idea is to have one big attention grabbing display in a relatively high traffic area.)

The plan is to bring together the VAA's artistic talent, and produce a message to the community honoring Darwin/recognizing the importance of evolution/celebrating science. But we need YOUR help. If you are artistic, you are especially encouraged to participate. Any one should feel free to help out though.

We will be meeting at 2:00 P.M. in front of Old Cabell tomorrow to undertake the chalking. Hope you can make it, and to see you there.
