Hello fellow Atheists, Agnostics, and other godless folk!

This coming Thursday is Blasphemy Day!
Location: The Lawn
Time: September 27th, 2:00-5:00pm*
*Rain Date: November 4th

We will be celebrating this international event and informing our fellow students about limitations on blasphemous speech around the world.

Luckily, blasphemous speech is reasonably well-protected in the commonwealth of Virginia, so we will be marking this day by encouraging blasphemy from those passing by, selling cookies for souls, and playing choice music from The Book of Mormon and wonderful artists like Tim Minchin!

However, to make this event the best it can possibly be, I need help from all of you in three major ways.
  1. Tablers! If you're willing to help with set-up, clean-up, or manning the table, we want you! We will have a sign-up sheet available soon.
  2. Cookies! Can you bake? If so, any baked goods you'd be willing to contribute are more than welcome!
  3. Music! If you have any musical suggestions for our heretical playlist, please contact me!
Finally, if you're interested in helping out, we will be providing more information at this Tuesday's meeting along with general information about promoting Atheist causes and our club.

Hasa diga eebowai,
Joel Travis
