Having pored through it myself, I can testify to it being an absolutely stunning piece of work. John’s insights and rigour are second to none.

It is very expensive, yes, but let’s use whatever library links we may have to ensure it gets out there.

There’s a link to a PDF which looks impressively produced but, and I found page numbers (385+92pp), but it seems an astonishing price for not a very big (8x10) pair of volumes, unless I am misreading something. It’s more than the huge 3-volume Rite of Spring Facsimile for example.

 

An inevitable purchase for some of us though...
