Hi folks,

Actually, just came across this,
so I thought I’d mention it here.
I think we’re familiar with his
friendship with Cage.

Also, I’ve been spending a lot of
time with a fairly recent CD recording
of Cage’s “Reunion” realized by
Joel Chadabe, Donald Gillies, and
William Blakeney that can probably
obtained thru the Electronic Music Foundation.
It’s quite nice and it’s also made me interested
in the tactile controller called a “LinnStrument”
and the IRCAM Solo Orchestral Instruments software.

The pieces on the CD:

Game One: Marcel Duchamp vs Leon Szwarcman (Paris 1929) (9:28)
Game Two: Eduard Glass vs Marcel Duchamp (Olympiad 1933) (15:58)
Game Three: Georges Koltanowski vs Marcel Duchamp (Paris 1929) (46:07)

After a massive renovation of most of our house in 2019 that made
things very difficult from March to about a week before Christmas,
I was all ready for 2020 to come so I can finally work on new projects …
…then I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy … so that took some of the
wind out of the sails for a while.

Anyway, hope everyone’s doing fine out there in Cageville.
It’s very quiet around here and there, so I thought I’d drop a line.

Rod
