Rod,

Lots of stuff going on. See the calendar of events at the Merce Cunningham Trust —
https://www.mercecunningham.org/activities/calendar/

There were some big events in London, New York, and Los Angeles, and you can view them here:

Best,
Tom

Hi folks,

If anyone has any special Centennial events honoring Merce that you know of,
it would be nice to hear about them. Yes, this would’ve been his 100th this year
and last Friday was the anniversary of his death 10 years ago, but I haven’t seen
much mention of special events.

I was surprised to see the ol’ Cowtown of Fort Worth celebrate Merce at "The Modern.”
Still, I must say, that they do more there than here in Dallas (though I did get a chance to
see Peter Brötzmann and Heather Leigh perform here a while back).

Anyway, I did a 100 minute homage to him as a kind of radiophonic mix
if anyone cares to listen:

So, yes, anyone have comments about things they’ve seen
or events that are coming up that you’re looking forward to,
it would be nice to hear about them. I’m hoping that all the
house remodeling here will be done in the next few months
so I can whisk myself away from here on a long, deserved
vacation and “imMERCE” myself in such events.

keep moving,

R
