Dear Silence Subscribers,
I am researching the interpretation of dynamic markings in Sonatas and Interludes. From what I hear in the recordings, it appears that the markings are an indication of force or velocity rather than output volume. Does anyone have any idea of what Cage thought about this?
Thanks,
Bradley Scott
