After trying a couple things and not get anything appealing, I gave up, saying I would much rather write a mesostic than have one pop up for me.  But I agree, this one is quite nice.  In my own tries I didn't get any suggestions of sense, as in:

 ca Ge.

In addition to "cage," I enjoyed "tent hundred."

Does anyone remember the "Babble" website?  You could control how many consecutive words each random selection consisted of.  And you could use your own word files.  Where is Babble now?

A very Cage-ian extension indeed! I think Cage would have been delighted by this, including the extended word-pool. Truly, everything here can be used as source material.

It would be nice to specify a text rather that a website, because usually there are irrelevant (technical) data in the beginning of each page. It's not easy to find a "pure" text out there. Also, for longer texts, it would be nice to have the possibility of more than 10 mesostics.

That said, the program seems to be quite clever in its word choice!

Also, noticed the word "Cage"? Is there such a thing as chance anyway?..
