Hello folks - 

Chris Auerbach-Brown from MOCA Cleveland here - I hope each of you are well these days!  

This email applies to Silencers in the Northeast Ohio area, but feel free to reply with helpful thoughts or suggestions.

I
 am reaching out to musicians to ask for assistance in promoting MOCA's 
Musicircus, scheduled for Saturday, December 1 from 1 - 4 pm.  Details 
are provided at this link: http://www.mocacleveland.org/programs/musicircus

Listed at the bottom of this webpage is a link to an online musician
 application for this event.  We're encouraging all interested parties 
to use this application to submit biographical info in PDF format, with 
an mp3 file which will give me a better understanding of what they would
 like to perform at the Musicircus.  We will have a handful of performer
 stations located throughout the building, positioned to achieve the 
"all-at-once" effect desired by John Cage.  

Admission to the event is free.  Additionally, Cage expressed the 
stipulation that all performers play for free, and that no performer or 
ensemble be "featured" over others as a headliner act.  Please 
pass this information along to anyone who may be interested in 
participating!  

MOCA Cleveland recently opened an amazing new museum building, and we want to feature it 
in as many ways as possible.  Feel free to email me if you have further questions.  Or, if you would 
like to take part in the Musicircus, let me know - I'd love to include 
you in whatever way you think is best.
