Scholarly discussion of the music of John Cage.

I am assuming that at least a few people on this list had contact with this author during the course of his research, as the Amazon review says he did many interviews and drew on the entire Cage archive in preparation for this book (which is nearly 500 pages in length).  Laura Kuhn of the John Cage Trust has favorable words to say about it here:  http://johncagetrust.blogspot.com/  Would any other list members like to share their experiences with this author?
