Subject: Puzzles: Early Registration Ends & Workshop Applications Due 10/29Dear Campus and Community Partners,
This is a final reminder to:
Both end this Sunday after 11:59pm
____________________________________________________________________________
Chrysalis Network is so excited to announce that registration is now live for the 10th Annual Solving the Campus Sexual Assault & Dating Violence Puzzle VIRTUAL International Conference, brought to you by Chrysalis Network, the NC State University Counseling Center, and the NC State University Women’s Center.
This year’s conference theme is: Cultivating Hope, Healing, and Justice to Build a Future Without Violence. We will highlight the courageous work of those on campuses and in the community who remain relentless in their push against the cultural norms of silence, victim-blaming, and minimization, to instead create safe, healthy, and accountable communities.See pricing on the conference website.
____________________________________________________________________________
Continuing education & OVW Campus Grantee approval
We invite OVW grantees and those seeking CEs to register for the conference now so that you can take advantage of the early registration rate (ends 10/29). Realistically, we may not be notified of the approvals until November and do not want you to miss out on early rates. If we do not receive OVW approval or NBCC CEs (which has never happened), and no longer want to attend, you will receive a full refund. Please contact me for all questions.
Thank you!
Juliette

Subject: Presentation on serving LGBTQIA+ survivorsHi all,I'm curious if anyone might be open to sharing a copy of any trainings you have created about serving LGBTQIA+ survivors. We want to do some training with our CCRT, and have general trainings about LGBTQIA+ identities but haven't yet developed something specific to LGBTQIA+ survivors. This is me not wanting to start from scratch if there are solid resources already available. :)Also, we will be partnering with FORGE for assessments and feedback at a later time, and their webinars are AWESOME. We have also learned that our team does best with live facilitation so we are hoping to identify a curriculum we can facilitate or to create one to offer some foundational knowledge before we work with that partner. :DThank you!! :DADRIANE L. Hi Adriane,
I have a few things I'm happy to share if it's helpful.
A recent presentation I did for a social work cohort on LGBTQ+ IPV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AExDCSnq1o New reports on LGBTQ+ sexual and dating violence from the CDC: www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pdf/nisvs/nisvsReportonSexualIdentity.pdf?ACSTrackingID=USCDC_1104-DM114435&ACSTrackingLabel=CDC%20Releases%20the%20National%20Intimate%20Partner%20and%20Sexual%20Violence%20Survey%20(NISVS)&deliveryName=USCDC_1104-DM114435 I've also attached a few articles that might be of help! You might also find some good stuff at the Network / La Red, Northwest Network, or the National LGBTQ Intimate Partner Violence Center.Hope some of this helps. If you're looking for something even more specific just let me know.
