Dear colleagues,
The SHARE (Sexual Harassment Awareness, Response, and Education) Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is hiring SHARE Center Coordinator who will also serve as Work/Life Connections-EAP Clinical Counselor.
Work/Life Connections-EAP is the internal employee assistance program of Vanderbilt within Health and Wellness for Faculty and Staff and provides assessment, brief solutions focused counseling, performance coaching, consultation services for managers, critical incident stress management, referral, case management, recovery support and monitoring, and skill building workshops for the Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center faculty and staff.
SHARE Program Overview:
The SHARE (Sexual Harassment Awareness, Response, & Education) Program is a place where employees and others working within the Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) community can share concerns about sexual harassment incidents or behavior when they may not be ready to share details or move forward on an investigation. The SHARE program is a resource for anyone who, in connection with VUMC activities and programs, experiences sexual harassment that interferes with or limits the ability of a member of the community to participate in or to receive benefits, services, or opportunities from the VUMC activities or programs.
Organizationally, the program is under the umbrella of Health and Wellness and within the same division as Work/Life Connections – EAP (WLC-EAP) but distinct in name/office/function/person from that program. However, SHARE staff will work closely with WLC-EAP to transition to the appropriate clinical care (e.g. counseling) when desired.
