This training provides education and guidance for clinicians to ensure their facilities have a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach. In this course, clinicians will learn how to safeguard patients from being re-traumatized and re-victimized by anyone they encounter when seeing care after a sexual assault. This course covers: • The Neurobiology of Trauma • The Coordinated Community Response • The Medical Forensic Examination • Courtroom Testimony CNE and CME credits are available at no cost upon completion of the course through IAFN.
