Free Training for Responsible Authorities Under Clery Act & Title IX

 

 

The team at The State University of New York is pleased to announce RAPID (Responsible Authority Proficiency in Incident Disclosure) Training. RAPID is a free, customizable and high quality training designed for colleges and universities to quickly, efficiently, and accurately train responsible authorities under the Clery Act, Title IX, and campus policy.

Colleges and universities across the country are working to educate employees about reporting crimes and violations, including Campus Security Authorities under the Clery Act and individuals with authority under Title IX, and we recognize that identifying, tracking, and training these professionals can be difficult (especially in an era when budgets are increasingly tight). Despite these challenges, providing effective training to these professionals who are so key in bringing information forward is critical, so institutions can properly report and respond to crime, violence, and harassment. RAPID offers a free, accurate, and customizable solution for institutions to use on their campus.

The SUNY Student Conduct Institute will customize the RAPID resource one time for all SCI institutional members at no cost.
