Good evening,

An exciting new opportunity at the University of Virginia that I hope many will consider, the Office of Health Promotion (OHP) is seeking a dynamic Associate Director to promote wellbeing through leadership of the University’s efforts to proactively and holistically promote healthy relationships by addressing the complexity of sexual violence. Reporting to the Director of OHP, this position provides senior leadership and management for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the University’s comprehensive sexual violence prevention plan. This includes sexual violence prevention interventions and services designed to increase healthy relationships and decrease gender and power-based violence, facilitate student learning outcomes and improve wellbeing and health behaviors and status, and promote wellbeing of our University community. The successful candidate will be adept at addressing the issues from the full spectrum of individual to community health, prevention to response, compliance, threat assessment, law and policy, and research. While students are the primary focus of the endeavors of this position, supporting the wellbeing and health of students necessitates considering and supporting the welfare of staff and faculty. This is a full-time 12-month University Staff position with all state benefits.

More information and how to apply is available here: https://uva.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/UVAJobs/job/Charlottesville-VA/Associate-Director--Office-of-Health-Promotion_R0004601.

Kind regards,

Nicole
