Hi everyone,
I am happy to announce that Violence Prevention & Response (VPR) at MIT is seeking a Program Assistant to join our team! Please share widely.
Here is the job description:
PROGRAM ASSISTANT, Violence Prevention and Response (VPR), to support the mission of VPR to engage all members of the MIT community in reducing interpersonal violence including sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. Will provide programmatic support to the VPR office which includes a director and four staff members; support and maintain fiscal responsibility including reimbursements and maintaining multiple budgets; participate in the collaborative vision and administration of VPR by working closely with the team to help support and coordinate events, including Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and many other ongoing activities; effectively communicate and coordinate with other offices when collaborating on events; employ strong computer skills to complete work in support of VPR’s vision and mission including regular website updates; and build and maintain effective, trusting relationships in the MIT community.
