Hi All,

I am writing to share about a student-led sexual assault response and prevention summit for the DMV area to be held on November 10th. The Sexual Assault Peer Educators (SAPE) will be hosting Georgetown’s first one-day sexual assault education and advocacy summit. W.E.R.C, Working to End Rape Culture, hopes to bring students, administrators, and community organizations across the DMV area together. In collaboration, we hope that our passion towards building survivor-centric communities will expand the dialogue around sexual assault response and prevention. We strive to learn from each other through sharing our various strategies and practices for addressing sexual violence on college campuses.

Registration is open and proposals are now being accepted. Please the attached flyers with your network! For any questions or concerns, please email

Best,
Jenn
