Just to make it a little more complicated, EverFi is moving to a flat rate subscription model for all of their trainings. I was getting pretty excited to finally do a benchmarking project on our campus to see if we could move away from Haven and to one of the other modules, but with the new payment scheme we will be paying for Haven whether we use it or not, because we use AlcoholEdu, so no one is interested in paying additional money for a separate sexual violence prevention platform.

Just something to think about for those of you on campuses that use other EverFi products, or whose campuses are looking into AlcoholEdu.

I’m going to chime in here, I’m one of the creators of SPARC and we are actually doing a series of technical assistance webinars right now, they will be going online soon (they were recorded) that are designed to introduce some of the concepts you will need to adapt the program for your campus.

Hi Kristie,

The SUNY and CUNY schools put together an online training template (called SPARC) that is free to use and customize. It requires more work up front than purchasing one of the other options (mainly recording videos from different stakeholders on campus and customizing slides with your institution's information) but is essentially free, especially if your campus already has access to the Articulate Storyline software.

Our Title IX Coordinator and I decided to go this route after none of the models for purchase seemed like they would be best for our campus, and I did all the customization myself, so I'm happy to talk about my experience if you (or anyone else) is interested!

Best,

Rachel

Hi Kristie,

Culture of Respect provides a free clearinghouse of prevention program reviews, including their focus/target audience, level of evidence, theoretical basis, cost, etc. It’s available here: http://cultureofrespect.org/colleges-universities/programs/

Hope it’s helpful!
