Good morning:

Please share widely.  UW-Madison is hiring for a full-time Violence Prevention Specialist to work in our student health center.  This position will manage primary violence prevention efforts for undergraduate populations, with a focus on bystander intervention strategies and healthy masculinity.

Some more information about the organization:  Princeton Review has ranked University Health Services (UHS) as the #1 student health center in the country for the past two years. UHS uses an integrated health care model to promote and protect the health of our campus community so that students benefit from UHS whether or not they ever receive care with us. The Violence Prevention & Survivor Services unit is designated as the campus unit to coordinate the university's primary violence prevention programs to prevent sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and stalking before it happens and address the needs of survivors after. More information is available at https://www.uhs.wisc.edu/vpss/.

Priority deadline for consideration is October 30.  Please see the position posting for full details: http://jobs.hr.wisc.edu/cw/en-us/job/496339/violence-prevention-specialist
