For anyone looking for documentaries, Audrie & Daisy is the most recent release & the subjects of the film have created their own NGO!

SafeBAE.org was founded by the survivors featured in the Peabody Award winning film Audrie & Daisy.  They have spent this year traveling to universities and schools throughout the country, screening the film, speaking about their work in early intervention, and engaging university students to be part of the solution on campus and in secondary education.  If you are interested in booking a screening of the film and hosting the subjects to speak about their involvement in the film and the creation of their independent non-profit, please contact .

We always like showing Beauty and the Beast to facilitate a DV discussion, and now that there is a live action version, you could certainly show that. However, it doesn’t make much sense unless you have a conversation before or after the movie to talk about it.

I would also love to hear suggestions!

Subject: Movie Recommendations

Hi colleagues,

In working on a film series for October, can anyone recommend movie titles whose themes/central messages are connected to relationship violence? The more current, the better, although we certainly would welcome older titles.

Thanks in advance!
