Greetings! I know the year is just ending and we are all planning events for next year…I want to share this new signature workshop from Traveling Postcards, being offered
to college campuses. I attended a workshop several years ago and asked the Founder if I could offer this on my campus. She trained me to facilitate the workshop. It is so very rich and meaningful for everyone involved. There are a lot of ways that you could
implement on your campus. I love sharing the workshop with students and then sharing postcards with Survivors that I am working with in the clinical setting. We have received very positive feedback from the students! Please read Caroline’s email below and
contact her with any questions you have. If you want to know about my experience, I would be happy to share with you.

I want to introduce you to a new program that can help to heal trauma for survivors of sexual assault and raise awareness about the issue of gender- based violence on campus. Traveling Postcards is a healing
arts workshop that gives voice and comfort to survivors of gender violence. Many violence prevention organizations, including colleges and universities use Traveling Postcards as an additional tool for healing after trauma
and to promote recovery. Traveling Postcards is also an excellent tool for advocacy and to promote gender equality on campus. The Women’s Wisdom Initiative provides our trauma informed Traveling Postcards workshop to college campuses and can hold multiple workshops over the course of 1-2 days with members of the student body, staff
and supporting networks. We also offer optional Facilitator Training to college counselors to continue the program at will. It is a well-known statistic that 1 in 5 college women are survivors of sexual assault. National campus efforts are diligently working towards violence prevention, but it should be noted that many students come to campuses already having
experienced a form of violence. Survivors are at higher risk for experiencing depression, PTSD, and substance abuse. The healing process is crucial to personal well-being and academic success. Please take a look at our website, videos and testimonials.
We would love a chance to talk more about our programs and how best to work with your campus. All the best, Caroline Lovell Caroline Lovell Founder/Director Women’s Wisdom Initiative Traveling Postcards Heal, Connect & Empower through Art
