The University of Michigan's Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center (SAPAC) is seeking candidates for the Director position. Please see the overview and link to the position description below, and share with folks who may be interested. Thank you!

The University of Michigan’s Division of Student Life seeks an experienced professional to provide leadership to the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center. 

Basic Function: As an institutional and divisional leader, the Director of SAPAC is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of primary prevention, crisis intervention, advocacy and referral programs and services related to sexual and intimate partner violence, sexual harassment and gender-based violence, and stalking for the campus community. The Director is charged with developing comprehensive campus-wide activities, relationships and internal and external partnerships that advance this work nationally and at the University of Michigan. 

The Director develops and implements vision and long-term planning for SAPAC that is consistent with comprehensive, and culturally-competent education and service delivery systems and that significantly contributes to institution-wide initiatives, including evaluation and assessment, research, policy development, training, strategic communications and public relations. The Director provides supervision and oversight to six full time staff and graduate and undergraduate student staff and interns.
