Hi Leah,

We have many faculty who are trained as Green Dot facilitators (in terms of prevention).  Most of our faculty involvement is through our Survivor Support Network. We offer 3-hour workshops for faculty, staff, and students that is structured somewhat like Safe Space trainings. It's all voluntary.

You can read about it if you scroll down this page: http://womenscenter.virginia.edu/gender-violence-and-social-change/

An advisory committee recommended that it be mandatory for all faculty but I doubt that will happen.

All faculty must take an online module to meet Title IX regs.

Greetings!

I'm wondering what kinds of strategies have been used to engage faculty in campus based prevention and intervention efforts? One of the schools I'm working with currently conducts Ally Trainings, works with faculty senate, looks at research projects and internships for students, classroom presentations, etc. Just wanting to know what else I can suggest that other schools are doing.

Thanks!
