We provide scenario-based training for faculty in responding to students who are impacted by interpersonal violence. As an accompaniment, we developed a guide
for faculty, coaches, and staff called, “Helping students impacted by interpersonal violence: The four Rs of response.” This is an adaptation (with permission) of UNH’s
Three Rs. We added “Receive” as a fourth R, which focuses on active listening. Happy to share the guide once it is available.
We also engage faculty as partners in our sexual misconduct policy working group and in our SA climate survey advisory committee.
Hope this is helpful, Donna Donna Greco, MSW Title IX Coordinator Dickinson College Student Life 28 North College St.

Greetings! I'm wondering what kinds of strategies have been used to engage faculty in campus based prevention and intervention efforts? One of the schools I'm working with currently conducts Ally Trainings, works with faculty senate, looks at research projects and
internships for students, classroom presentations, etc. Just wanting to know what else I can suggest that other schools are doing.
Thanks! Leah Aldridge |
