Hi Brittany,
I'm not sure if you've already gotten this advice, but we just did Take Back the Night on campus so I thought I would chime in. I'm the director of the advocacy office on campus - I attended TBTN this year and gave a "disclaimer" at the beginning of the speak out that any disclosures would not result in the university being on notice, despite responsible employees and CSAs being in attendance. I then gave information about accessing confidential resources on campus. A disclaimer like that should assuage concerns about reporting responsibilities, and give survivors clarity about the parameters of the event.
Best,

Thank you all so much for your quick responses.I had never heard of this before, and it struck me as odd, but I'm new to this particular campus, and I have more responsibility, so I wanted to be sure. Thank you again. Have a great rest of your day.--Brittany Talley, MADirector of Sexual Assault PreventionSaint Mary's College of California1928 Saint Mary’s RoadMoraga, CA 94556
