Hello colleagues,

I'm writing to share a resource my organization recently released. This publication (titled "Improving Campus Sexual Assault Prevention: A Best Practice Guide for Administrative Leadership"is based on exciting new data examining campus prevention efforts within a comprehensive, "best practice" framework. This guidebook is intended to help elevate the conversation around campus sexual assault prevention by providing insights and strategies geared towards senior administrators, including:
  • A review of the current state of sexual assault on campus, its impact on survivors and their schools, and how institutions of higher education are currently responding
  • A "lay of the land" in terms of: the programs schools are using (and how they may or may not be evidence-based), the degree to which campuses are goal-setting, strategic planning, and evaluating prevention efforts, the amount of prevention funding and human resources in place at institutions, etc.
  • Best practices for sexual assault prevention, with clear, evidence-based guidelines for a comprehensive prevention approach
  • Key recommendations to help institutions make breakthrough progress in their own prevention efforts
You can download the free guidebook here:

Similarly, we are also hosting a webinar tomorrow at 2pm Eastern titled: "The Requirements and Beyond: Transforming Campus Culture Through Comprehensive Prevention and Education." Together with Holly Rider-Milkovich from the University of Michigan, this webinar will support prevention professionals, student affairs administrators, compliance officers, and senior leaders in transcending legislative requirements regarding prevention and education to transform campus culture around sexual assault.

This is an open webinar, and you can register here:

I hope you find the guidebook valuable (I would love to hear thoughts), and I hope to see you on the webinar tomorrow!

Best,
Rob
