Thanks, Brett.  I was actually asking the question based on the ATIXA TIX/SaVE Act checklist.  You mention TIV twice and I'm trying to understand what that translates to:  "Role of federal government in enforcing TIX and DOJs role with TIV" and "Overview of rights TIX and TIV confer on students and/or employees."

I'm just trying to figure out exactly what that means I need to tell in employees about TIV in my trainings.

Thanks!

Title IV rights are co-extensive with Title IX rights for public universities, Juliette. It’s a separate enforcement mechanism, but not really a separate source of non-discrimination rights.

Subject: Title IV and Title IX question

Hey folks -

Can someone help me understand the rights under Title IV as they relate to campus sexual violence?  I'm trying to understand what employees need to understand about Title IV as required under DOJ and OCR.  Is it that because a Title IX violation could result in the loss of federal funding, that this then impacts the federal aid for all students?

Thanks for your incredible wealth of knowledge!

Juliette
