Hi all:

A week or so ago, I posted to this list asking if anyone had any data to suggest that putting multiple genders in the same residence hall had an impact on victimization/perpetration rates.

I received a number of general responses, but not specific data sets.  In short, those who had looked into this matter previously discovered both in the data and anecdotally that allowing multiple genders to live in the same res hall/floors of res halls actually had a mitigating factor on men’s violence.    I am not an expert on this matter, but wanted to share back the overarching theme of responses in case folks were curious!

Hope you are all well.
