We are very excited to announce that UC Berkeley is 
​hiring ​
an Assistant Director focused on 
​prevention of ​
sexual and intimate partner violence. The candidate must have strong multicultural competence, a commitment to and understanding of social justice, and a desire to build relationships and work collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and community organizations. We are seeking a candidate with a passion for social change; a strong history of effective IPV/SA prevention efforts on a college campus or in an educational setting; and expert and comprehensive knowledge of health promotion and/or related education programs. 

This position will report to the Director of Sexual Assault Prevention & Student Advocacy and is independently responsible for directing the development, implementation, and assessment of comprehensive 
​prevention/​
education services. 
This position will be a key leader and will create and put into operation essential functions of a new, confidential department focused on preventing and responding to concerns of sexual violence, including: sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner violenceThis position is the third staff member of an office created in the Fall of 2014 and will have many opportunities to shape the development of the department.
