Hi everyone,

Hope all is well and calming down on your campuses!

Our office has run into a bit of a hurdle with payroll regarding paying our after hour (professional staff) responders of our 24 hr sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking crisis help line. I've been asked to gather information about how other institutions approach this.

Historically, we have paid these staff members a stipend amount to have an on call shift (we have two a week -- one for Friday night - Monday morning and one for evenings Mon - Thurs.). Additionally, responders have received an hourly rate for administrative work (eg staff meetings) and time spent responding to calls.

How have other schools structured this kind of service?

How do you structure payment for these services?
