Has anyone had to work with campus or national chapters of sororities to assist survivors in gaining or maintaining membership? We have a survivor who would like to be initiated, but we’re caught between the credit hour and GPA requirements.
We’ve assisted her in dropping a class that she did not pass this past semester, so her GPA technically is high enough, but by dropping that class she has not completed enough hours to be eligible for membership. Our next step is to talk to the sorority membership
chair and advisor, and I’m wondering if anyone has been through something like this. Any guidance or insight is appreciated.
