Hey folks -
A major TV Show is interested in doing a segment on campus sexual
assault. They are looking for campus survivors who are willing to speak out
about their experience. The case needs to have been documented in some way (student conduct, police, etc.). They
are looking for recent cases within the last year or two and the person
would need to be available next week (Wed 18th) for filming. It is a well respected show and I trust that they will handle this very sensitively.
It is a lot to ask of someone. At the same time, I hope you will consider offering someone this opportunity as for many folks it could be a very healing and empowering experience. For me, speaking publicly about my assault was where I truly began to heal.
