The University of Arizona is looking for a psychologist specializing in trauma to coordinate clinical services for the Oasis Program Against Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence.
Description: The Oasis Program Psychologist/Coordinator is part of a multidisciplinary health and counseling team with a unique
position that mandates a strong awareness of and ability to address sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking on a university campus, as well as an ability to function as a strong generalist in a university-based health and counseling setting. The
primary responsibilities of this position are to provide and coordinate survivor-centered clinical services to UA students, faculty and staff impacted by sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking. The Oasis Program clinical services include crisis
intervention/response, assessment of risk, advocacy, and psychological treatment that is primarily brief in nature and appropriate referral to community or other services.
This position will work closely with other mental health professionals and medical staff within the CHS. This individual will also participate in consultation and outreach within the UA community and will work closely with the CHS Violence Prevention Specialist in efforts at decreasing interpersonal violence in the university campus community. This individual will also be required to maintain required clinical documentation and data on utilization of the Oasis Program services.
