Thanks to Nancy for that information.
We are still struggling with employees who fall in-between "confidential/privileged" and a "responsible employee." The task force report allows for this third tier of employee, who must report the fact of a disclosure, but not details. The Task Force
report suggests a narrow definition of this third tier, but I worry that requiring everyone (expect those with confidentiality/privilege) to report will have a chilling effect on reporting. I am familiar with the arguments as to why everyone should
report, but I am not entirely convinced. I am interested to know how other schools are handling this. For example, are you requiring that professors who receive a disclosure report details? What if the perpetrator is not a student?
