I have what might be a silly question.
If a school has an operator/switchboard either at the main office or the Campus Safety Office/Campus Police Department, and that is the main way students contact the
school’s on call person, or Campus Safety, that is, it’s the main way a student can get any kind of after-hour assistance, what happens when someone calls because they want a sexual assault responder? For instance, they want a counselor because an assault
has taken place. Although the counselor might be a confidential resource, does the phone call become “notice” to the school? I’d love your thoughts on this,
