Services is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator for Violence Prevention and Health Masculinity Programming. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of Students for Student Health Services, this position serves as a catalyst
and resource for advancing violence prevention efforts on campus that will include a focus on gender equity and social justice. The coordinator will provide programmatic guidance and assessment for the development of strategic plans, goals and measurable objectives
for comprehensive sexual misconduct, advocacy, violence prevention and healthy masculinity programs and services for the university. The coordinator trains, directs, and supervises others performing tasks associated with the delivery of programs and services,
including staff, students, and peer educators. The coordinator will include a focus on programs that support healthy masculinities to encourage men to think critically about the impact gender role socialization has on their personal and academic relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s preferred in Social work, Public Health, Women’s and Gender Studies, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in a higher education setting,
preferably in a department/office focused on gender equity/or violence prevention.
