I am attempting to draft a statement to share with the campus community and campus vendors that highlights our university’s desire to maintain a climate free from rape supportive behaviors and language.

 

Here’s an example:  We bring a hypnotist to campus every Fall as part of our evening entertainment for new students. We want to be sure that the “humor” in his show doesn’t perpetuate behaviors we’re trying hard to prevent through our other efforts.

 

Knowing that language around this area is incredibly important I’m reaching out to see if other campuses have something similar that I could reference. If so, please share by Tuesday, June 17. I will send out a compilation of responses to this listserv.
