Hey folks -
For those of you who include emotional and psychological abuse in your campus code of conduct definition under dating/relationship violence/IPV, can you share how/if a student can be charged with this (as oposed to physical assault)? I'm working with a group of folks on a model DV campus policy and while we have included these types of abuse in the definition, it has occurred to us that the sanctioning/charge piece of it is a bit tricky. We understand that emotional and psychological abuse can be harassment and/or stalking, however for the incidents in which abusive language does not meet this level, how do your student conduct offices respond?- Emotional/Psychological abuse and student conduct, Juliette Grimmett, 05/08/2014
