Hi All, 

This year’s Southeastern Women’s Centers Conference will be hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, May 29-30, 2014. We would like to invite all of our sister centers and anyone else who may be interested to participate in this two-day conference to discuss best practices and issues in Southeastern Women’s Centers. This is always an energizing and empowering event for participants. 

Several people have asked about submitting program proposals. Anyone who is interested is welcome to send me information so we can incorporate their presentations. We don’t have the agenda set yet since we ask for feedback from participants on what they would like to discuss and they conference tends to be more informal than larger structured conferences. The breakout sessions are generally facilitated discussions and the large group sessions are invited speakers. We usually begin at 11am on the first day and then finish up by 4pm on day two. All told we normally have four breakout sessions scheduled and two or three large group sessions.
