I received many requests to share any responses received, so I will summarize here:

Attached: "Metacognitive Experiences and the Intricacies of Setting People Straight: Implications for Debiasing and Public Information Campaigns"(Schwarz, Sanna, Skurnik, and Yoon, 2007 in Advances in Experimental Social Psychology)
"Is Myth-Busting Counterproductive?" with a note that if you are including myths, make them visually smaller than the facts so what stands out os what you want to be remembered and the myth fades more into the background
"Social Norms and the Prevention of Alcohol Misuse in Collegiate Contexts"
"Public discussion surrounding Duke Rape Case reinforces rape myths"

I am wondering if anyone is aware of research on the use of "myths vs. facts" sections in prevention education leading to participants' recall only of the myths, as opposed to the facts being presented in an attempt to debunk the myths.
