Sorry if my questions weren't clear enough. Yes it's true that mandatory reporting laws for child abuse, particularly *who* is mandated to report, vary from state to state, and the lists of professions seem to be broadening over time. But I think that as a category such laws raise unique issues for campus sexual assault response. For example, do university set up their responders to avoid those professions? Are underage victims warned that their parents will be notified if the child abuse registry takes the report? etc. In prior years when I did much more on campus work than I do now, universities seem to have struggled with such questions. Since I don't seem to hear this topic mentioned now on this listserv I was trying to ask what solutions have been developed.
